Series Metro-North

This series titled Metro North consist of sculptural paintings with hand-dyed (acrylic-ink) on Mylar or synthetic paper. This artwork plays with the gradations, change and spectrum of colors depending the eyes of the viewer (Right or left)

The color alludes to the passage of time and landscape as one rides a train. In my case between Grand Central and Poughkeepsie N.Y. where my studio is located.

Some colors appear blur others saturated, but together they create memories and transport us both literally and metaphorically.
